In this work, we encounter Bart as an icon of rebellion and youthful impudence. He stands here as a kind of jester pointing the finger at an industry that wraps emptiness in colorful packaging and sells it as joy. The McDonald's bag is more than a bag, it is a symbol of mass production, capitalism and a culture that puts money before people. By having Bart make fun of this system, the illusion is stripped away. What looks innocent and fun is revealed as deception and greed.
